MOIRA’s free six week Art Therapy program for carers is an introduction to the process of using art and creativity to reflect and explore self-expression.
Join Art Therapist, Denise Doree, in weekly classes that focus on relaxation and self-care, and allow a progression of insight and knowledge into ourselves.
You don’t have to be creative to experience the benefits!
Classes will run on Mondays at 11:00am– 12:00pm AEST (17/05/2021 – 05/07/2021)
The Art Therapy course will be held online via Zoom. Some basic materials are required and a list will be provided upon registration.
To take part, fill out the registration form below.
Art therapy is a form of expressive therapy that uses the creative process of making art to improve physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
The creative process involved in expressing one’s self artistically can help to resolve issues as well as develop and manage behaviours and feelings, reduce stress, and improve self-esteem and awareness.
