National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) now available throughout Victoria

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) roll out in Victoria is now complete and all eligible Victorians can access the scheme.

As of January 1st 2019, the Victorian National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) roll out is now complete and all eligible Victorians can access the scheme.

The NDIS is revolutionising the way disability services are provided in Australia and empowering individuals with choice and control over how, when and where disability supports are provided. This important milestone marks the welcomed opportunity for all Victorians to receive the reasonable and necessary supports to live independent fulfilling lives.

MOIRA continue to assist both NDIS participants and service providers transitioning to new NDIS funding scheme as Victoria’s leading Plan Management provider. MOIRA’s Plan Management service is currently supporting thousands of NDIS participants and we look forwarding to continued growth and innovation as the NDIS begins to mature.

MOIRA Plan Management alleviate the pressures associated with making NDIS provider claims, taking care of provider payments and building participant’s capacity to manage their funding. The service allows participants the opportunity to pursue the goals of their NDIS Plan with the confidence that invoices are processed efficiently.

With over 50,000 Victorians already accessing the NDIS and 10,000 of those receiving supports for the first time, the completion of the Victoria NDIS roll out is cause for celebration. Once fully implemented, the NDIS is estimated to support approximately 105,000 people with disability in Victoria and MOIRA is ready to support the individuals, families, carers and service providers that make up the disability community.
