Checking in with the NDIS community in Victoria

As the global COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, the health, safety and wellbeing of the participants, families, and professionals MOIRA works alongside is a priority.
This update is both an opportunity to check in with the NDIS community in Victoria and offer some resources and supports that may help as we journey through this lockdown together.

As a team, MOIRA Financial Plan Management continues to work from home and are keeping safe.
Our contingency planning, technology systems, and processes are well equipped to weather the current pandemic situation and ensure that your plan management needs continue uninterrupted.

We hope that you are keeping safe and managing your health and wellbeing during the current stage-4 restrictions. It has been a long journey so far and we understand the pressures being placed on participants, carers and disability services during this time.



NDIS participants who have questions or whose circumstances may have changed and have questions about their NDIS plan are encourage to contact the NDIA on 1800 800 110 to discuss their needs or to seek further information.

NDIS providers who have questions about delivering quality and safe supports and services to NDIS participants during the coronavirus pandemic should contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission on 1800 035 544.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Information.
The NDIS recently announced temporary changes to funding arrangements to allow NDIS participants in Victoria and New South Wales to claim the cost of personal protective equipment (PPE), including masks.

Home testing.
A Call-to-Test service is now available for Victorians in metropolitan Melbourne who are unable to leave their home to undertake a coronavirus (COVID-19) test.

The service is available to those who have symptoms and meet the criteria.
